THREE MUSKETEERS
Action/Adventure
PLOT:
Based on Alexander Dumas' classic novel comes a big-screen action adventure update of the Three Musketeer. They are known as Porthos, Athos, and Aramis — three elite warriors who serve the King of France as his best Musketeers. After discovering an evil conspiracy to overthrow the King, the Musketeers come across a young, aspiring hero — D'Artagnan — and take him under their wing. Together, the four embark on a dangerous mission to foil the plot that not only threatens the Crown, but the future of Europe itself.

I love the Musketeers for one reason, the setting. I love the Victorian era when it comes to the Architecture and Clothing.Who doesn't love corsets?
If you haven't gotten the chance to watch  the Three Musketeers on theatre like me, no need to worry because it's now available on DVD and Blur-ray.
I enjoyed watching it on Blur-ray with all the Special Features especially the Access Musketeers where while the movie is playing , a window pops-out and shows the interviews from the casts and crews and what they did to the background on each particular scenes. But if you don't like interruptions, you have the option of watching it the regular way.

 ABSENTIA
Horror/Suspense
PLOT:

Tricia's (Bell) husband has been missing for seven years. Her younger sister, Callie (Parker), comes to live with her as the pressure mounts to finally declare him 'dead in absentia.' Tricia is reluctant, always holding out hope, but Callie is practical and wants her to move on. As Tricia sifts through the wreckage and tries to move on with her life, Callie finds herself drawn to an ominous tunnel near the house. As she begins to link it to other mysterious disappearances, it becomes clear that his presumed death might be anything but 'natural. Soon it becomes clear that the ghostly force at work in the tunnel might have set it's sights on Callie and Tricia too.

This was a nice horror flick. It has the the right element for a scary movie. I think the actors did a good job. The only thing i noticed is that they could have done better with the sound effect. It was already scary when i watched it. So if they added more or better sound effect to go with the element of surprise , you'll be more scared!
