The Secret Circle Quotes

Good for teen romance. I forgot how much i enjoyed this books when i read it about 3 years ago. It's about a teenage girl named Cassie who had to deal with her new life after finding out about her family's being a witch. Her struggles to fit in the new town and her strong feeling for Adam. This is also where L.J. Smith first introduced the Silver Cord that links one person to another. L. J. Smiths Soulmate principle! I haven't gotten the chance to watch the tv series. Hopefully i find time.

SYNOPSIS
The Initiation and The Captive, Part I (The Secret Circle #1-2)
The circle's power has lured her home

Forced to move from sunny California to gloomy New England, Cassie longs for her old life. Even so, she feels a strange kinship to a terrifying group of teens who seem to rule her school. Initiated into the coven of witches that's controlled New Salem for hundreds of years, she's drawn into the Secret Circle, a thrill that's both intoxicating and deadly. But when she falls for the mysterious and intriguing Adam, Cassie must choose whether to resist temptation or risk dark forces to get what she wants—even if it means that one wrong move could ultimately destroy her.

The Captive, Part II and The Power (The Secret Circle #2-3)
Cassie has joined the most alluring-and deadly-in-crowd imaginable. But power comes with a price, and it's more dangerous than she knows. Torn between the dueling desires of the two leaders of the Secret Circle, she must ultimately choose between saving all of the New Salem, and her own dangerous love for bewitching Adam, which threatens to tear the circle apart. In the ultimate battle between good and evil, will Cassie's supernatural powers be strong enough to lead the coven out of danger? Or will she fall prey to the dark forces within?

...WILL SHE SACRIFICE HER LOVE FOR THE CIRCLE TO SURVIVE?

The Forbidden Game by L. J. Smith and Quotes

VOL 1: THE HUNTER
VOL. 2: THE CHASE
VOL. 3: THE KILL

THIS IS THE COPY I HAVE. 3 VOLUMES IN ONE BOOK.

To lose the game is to lose your life in bestselling author L.J. Smith's THE FORBIDDEN GAME.

To capture the love of Jenny Thorton, Julian--a visitor from a dark world--draws Jenny and her friends into forbidden games; the contest for a human soul. The prize is Jenny's freedom. The stakes are all of their lives. Jenny's friends are determined to help her win. But Julian is the master of the Game. Jenny's most desperate fight will be with him, this eerily handsome boy with electric blue eyes. He knows her deepest secrets, her darkest fears. He has almost infinite power. And the only thing he wants is for Jenny to surrender to him--body and soul.

L.J. Smith has always been one of my favorite author. And this is one of my favorite YA trilogy.
Julian's character is so strong that despite the fact that he is the antagonist, you can't help yourself not to fall in love with him. His love, or rather obsession with Jenny led to a terrorizing game for Jenny and her friends.
Jenny, driven by her love for Tom and her friends, tries to out-wit Julian in his games.
I quite expected what's gonna happen between Jenny and Julian in the end. It is how it should be. But, i already fell in love with Julian. And hoped it would have been different.

This page-turner book will keep you entertained until the very last page. The story is creepy(Shadow Men themselves???Ever wonder why sometimes you feel like someone is watching you???), maybe that's why it appealed to me. You'll get hooked till the very last page wondering what will happen to Julian, Jenny and her friends in the end.
